ASFG is proud to announce a landmark achievement: this year's community fundraising campaign has raised more money than any previous year in the school's history, thanks to the generosity of alumni, parents, and local supporters.
The funds raised will go toward two major initiatives — expanding the school's scholarship program for prospective students and upgrading facilities in the science and arts departments.
"This achievement reflects the incredible strength of our community," said a spokesperson for the school's development office. "Every donation, whether large or small, brought us closer to creating more opportunities for our students."
The campaign included a range of activities throughout the year, from a alumni giving day to a community fun run and a series of donor events. Notably, participation from recent graduates increased significantly compared to previous years, a trend the school hopes to continue building on.
Several new scholarships made possible by this year's fundraising will be awarded starting next term, giving promising students from a wider range of backgrounds the opportunity to attend ASFG.
"Achievements like this don't happen without a community that truly cares," the spokesperson added. "We're incredibly grateful, and excited for what this means for future students."
The school says it will share more updates on facility improvements and new scholarship recipients in the coming months.
