Why ASA Membership?

Since its founding in 1971, the Alberta Snowmobile Association (ASA) has been run by volunteers, with office staffing added in 1981. The ASA supports volunteer-based clubs, who manage local trails in partnership with the ASA. This model, rooted in volunteerism, continues to be effective and valued at the grassroots level.

The ASA Board of Directors and club leaders, all volunteers, are key to developing and maintaining Alberta’s 6,500+ kilometers of snowmobile trails, while addressing safety concerns. Their dedication is truly remarkable.

AVALANCHE REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM

AST Program 2025

Our AST program is full for the season. We appreciate all our members who take the time to educate themselves about avalanche safety.

For those who applied - reimbursement will be sent out after April 30, 2025, at the end of our season.

Please send in your certificate of course completion, course receipt, and proof of current season membership to the office before April 30, 2025. Unfortunately, late submissions won't be accepted.
